Summary
This bill amends the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act of 1980 to repeal the provision that prohibits the leasing and production of oil and gas resources from the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. The bill further directs the establishment of a competitive oil and gas leasing program for the exploration and development of oil and gas in Alaska. (by MAPLight.org)
