Social Security Security by Danny Rogers, Aug 20, 2008 (8:05pm)

This bill seems to be aimed at fight Social Security fraud, something that no doubt exists with some regularity. But I would doubt the effectiveness of such regulations, especially in light of the burden they may place on social security recipients, citizens who by definition are in need. I think it is beneficial to allow some waste in certain aspects of our government, such as welfare. If we are worried, perhaps there are other places where we can pinch pennies, like needless wars or military expenditures.
